MANNOL Winter Diesel 1:1000 – a uniquely formulated anti-gel additive, to reduce the pour point (gel formation temperature) and cold filter plugging point for both summer and winter diesel fuel. Suitable for any type of diesel fuel and all types of diesel engines (naturally aspirated and turbocharged) with any fuel systems, with or without diesel particulate filters and catalysts. Doesn’t change basic fuel properties, only improves its low-temperature characteristics.
Properties:
- Prevents crystallization of paraffins in diesel fuel at low temperatures;
- Reduces cold filter plugging point (to -36 °C) and pour point (to -47 °C) of diesel fuel. Optimizes and stabilizes fuel system operation at low temperatures, prevents filter and fuel line blockages by paraffin crystals;
- Enhances combustion efficiency of fuel and burns completely without residue or ash;
- Eases low-temperature engine starting;
- Contains detergents to keep fuel system parts clean;
- Protects fuel system from corrosion;
- Neutralizes water condensate in the fuel tank, preventing ice block formation in the fuel system at sub-zero temperatures.
Application: Shake thoroughly before use. Add to diesel fuel or directly into the fuel tank before each refueling or immediately after it, starting in autumn, at a ratio of 1:1000 (250 ml of anti-gel for 250 liters of fuel). Self-mixing.
Attention! The additive freezes in the cold and reveals its full properties only when mixed with diesel fuel. Due to the risk of freezing, the additive should not be stored at temperatures below 0 °C. It becomes solid and non-flowing in cold conditions. In this case, to make it suitable for use again, it must be heated to room temperature. The additive can only be added to fuel when it is in a liquid state.
This product is not intended for use with surrogate diesel fuels, as well as with all types of stove and marine fuels.
Recommended for regular use.
Shelf life: 5 years from the date of manufacture.
