Use High-tech 100% synthetic engine oil, approved by many machinery manufacturers. Specially developed for the new generation of turbocharged and direct injection petrol and diesel engines complying with Euro IV and Euro V standards and requiring the use of ACEA C3 oils. Compatible with catalytic converters and diesel particulate filters (DPF).
Euro IV and Euro V engines have a very sensitive exhaust gas neutralisation system: sulphur and phosphorus in the emissions reduce the efficiency of the catalytic converter. Sulphated ash builds up on the particulate filter elements, increasing fuel consumption and reducing engine power. The ACEA C3 standard requires oils to have a high film strength and low emissions of harmful substances. MOTUL 8100 X-clean 5W-40 has a synthetic base and a reduced sulphated ash, phosphorus and sulphur (SAPS) content, resulting in a highly resistant oil film in the engine and compatibility with exhaust gas cleaning systems. Motul 8100 X-clean 5W-40 has excellent lubricity, wear resistance and high temperature resistance, reducing oil consumption. ACEA C3 oils allow for increased oil change intervals set by on-board diagnostics.
