Application High-tech 100% synthetic engine oil approved by many equipment manufacturers. Specially developed for gasoline and diesel engines of the latest generation equipped with turbocharging and direct injection, engines complying with Euro IV and Euro V requiring ACEA C3 standard oil. Compatible with catalytic converters and particulate filters (DPF). 
Engines meeting Euro IV and Euro V standards are equipped with very sensitive exhaust gas neutralization systems: Sulfur and phosphorus in the exhaust reduce the efficiency of the catalytic converter. Sulfate ash deposits on the elements of the particulate filter, which in turn leads to increased fuel consumption and reduced engine power. The ACEA C3 standard requires oils to maintain a high oil film resistance and low harmful substances in the exhaust of powerful engines. MOTUL 8100 X-clean 5W-40 has a synthetic base with a reduced content of sulfate ash, phosphorus, and sulfur (SAPS), which creates a very stable oil film in the engine and ensures compatibility with exhaust gas cleaning systems. Motul 8100 X-clean 5W-40 oil has high lubricating, anti-wear properties and high-temperature resistance, reducing oil burn-off. ACEA C3 oils allow for extended oil change intervals determined by the onboard diagnostics system.
