Application High-tech 100% synthetic motor oil approved by many equipment manufacturers. Specially developed for gasoline and diesel engines of the latest generation equipped with turbocharging and direct injection, engines meeting Euro IV and Euro V standards and requiring the use of ACEA C3 standard oil: oils with high HTHS viscosity (more than 3.5 mPa/s), reduced sulfate ash content (0.8%), phosphorus (0.07%-0.09%), sulfur (0.3%) - «Mid SAPS». Compatible with catalytic converters and particulate filters (DPF). 

Engines meeting Euro IV and Euro V standards are equipped with highly sensitive exhaust gas after-treatment systems: Sulfur and phosphorus in the exhaust reduce the efficiency of the catalytic converter. Sulfate ash deposits on particulate filter elements, which in turn leads to increased fuel consumption and reduced engine power. The ACEA C3 standard requires oils with high film resistance and low harmful emissions in powerful engines. MOTUL 8100 X-clean 5W-40 has a synthetic base and reduced content of sulfate ash, phosphorus, and sulfur (SAPS), creating a very stable oil film in the engine and ensuring compatibility with exhaust cleaning systems. Motul 8100 X-clean 5W-40 oil has high lubricating, anti-wear properties and resistance to high temperatures, which reduces oil consumption. ACEA C3 oils allow increased oil change intervals determined by the onboard diagnostic system.
