Windshield Repair Kit – a convenient tool kit that allows you to restore your car's windshield in 30-50 minutes. This kit helps reduce cracks in the windshield and prevents them from spreading further. The working principle of the kit is to remove air from chips and cracks, filling them with a strong resin, making the treated area of the glass even stronger than before. To achieve the best results, perform the repair as soon as possible before the crack area becomes contaminated.
Usage:
1. Clean the damaged area of the windshield from dust and dirt.
2. Cover the adhesive pad so that the damaged area is at its center.
3. Place a small syringe on the adhesive pad and add 1-2 drops of polymer (repair resin) from the tube into it.
4. Insert the syringe into the injector and fill the glass with the polymer under pressure (it's best to warm the treated area of the glass from inside the car).
5. Remove the injector and clean the glass from the adhesive pad using the blade.
6. Apply a drop of polymer on the damaged area and cover it with a protective thermal plate.
7. Wait at least 15 minutes until the polymer hardens from the sun's ultraviolet rays; ultraviolet lamps can also be used for drying (depending on power, 5-30 minutes).
8. Remove the thermal plate and carefully cut off the excess polymer with a blade.
